The season of blossom is yet to come. It is a perfect time to free our spirit to the nature. Setting back for a vegetarian meal is an express to a green touch. A cross-over vegetarian feast is now available at Regal Riverside Hotel. The Hotel combines the finest ingredients and multiple cooking styles across the 10 hotel restaurants and bars to create 10 unique and delightful vegetarian dishes. It splashes variety of green tastes with surprise. Diners can sit back at one place to enjoy every refreshing and stylish bite.
The starter is “Vegetarian Tapas” from Carnival Bar. It includes 4 crunchy tiny bites, “Morel Mushroom in Foil Pastry”, “Curry Vegetable in Vol-au Vent”, “Tortilla Chip in Guacamole and Sour Cream” and “Roasted Bell Pepper and Sweet Corn Croquettes Skewer”. It follows by a deluxe “Truffle Temptation” presented by the hotel Japanese restaurant, Aji Bou Izakaya. Japanese cuisine is always a healthy pick. Both of the 3 truffle temptations are light and simple. “Roasted Eggplant with Truffle in Miso” mixes the aroma of black truffle with eggplant in a traditional way. “Truffle Cabbage Roll in Sake Bouillon” and “Steamed Egg with Truffle” delivers delicate taste of various kinds of mushroom including black truffle, shimeji mushroom and enoki. While Dragon Inn brings a fine Huai Yang dish “Steamed Vegetable Dumpling in Fresh Green Shoot in Sesame Sauce”. The stuff includes glass noodles, Black Fungus and Shanghai Preserved Vegetables, while the slice of green shoot looks like a grass platform. The next temptation is Thai-Vietnamese relish from Vi. The “Delightful Combo” combines various Thai vegetables and fruit to bring 3 dishes, “Rice Paper Roll with Mushroom”, “Green Papaya Salad” and “Lettuce Pocket and Winter Bamboo Shoot in Lychee Red Curry Sauce”.
After enjoying a few Asian delights, the vegetarian menu leads diners to taste across the ocean. The hotel Italian restaurants, Avanti Ristorante introduces “Cappuccino of Cepe Mushroom with Black Truffle Foam”. The foam is whipped by black truffle and fresh milk. The strong aroma gives attractive taste and smell. L’Eau Restaurant serves “Gratinated Portabello Stuffed with Low Fat Cheese, Spinach and Tomato”. The stuffed portabello is baked with cream sauce and Italian cheese which serves a tasty mix. To refresh and awake the taste buds, the “Grapefruit Granite with White Port” of Scene Bar is ready to serve.
Diners will keep exciting by the Chinese vegetarian tastes. Regal Seafood Restaurant serving Cantonese cuisine delivers “Crispy Taro Box with Fungi in Roasted Pine Nuts, in Sweet and Sour Sauce”. The deep-fried taro box is deliciously matched with vegetable stuff and the dip. Another Chinese flavour “Vegetarian Abalone with Asparagus, Bamboo Pith and Chinese Mushroom in Pumpkin Sauce” of Regal Court, a Chinese fine dining place, not only serves wonderful taste, but also exquisite Chinese presentation. The sumptuous “Bird’s Nest Dumpling in Ginger Syrup” from Moon River, which provides extensive local delicacies, is a perfect end to the meal.
