A charity event, Care for Elders at Mid-Autumn Festival, was successfully held at the Regal Airport Hotel on September 13, 2007. Elders from the Caritas Day Care Centre for the Elderly at Tsuen Wan were invited to attend a joyful lunch gathering.

Senior citizens have made a lifetime contribution to our society. In order to express our special care for them and pay tribute for their contributions, Regal Airport Hotel partnered with the Caritas Day Care Centre for the Elderly at Tsuen Wan to arrange such an event for celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most important festivals signifying reunion in the Chinese community, with 50 elders from the centre.

To kick off this event, the elders showcased their talents with singing and dancing performances while and a series of exciting games was followed. During the lunch banquet, a lucky draw was held to enhance the atmosphere, whereby five lucky elders won a HK$500 dining voucher from the hotel. Last but not least, a box of Double Yolks White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake was given to each elder as a souvenir for sharing happiness with their families.

We definitely will continue our participation in similar initiatives throughout the year.”
