Offering a chic and inviting ambiance, the newly renovated Regal Palace is tastefully combined with modern and elegant design through the use of panelled walls, high ceiling with chandelier and floor-to-ceiling window, making it a perfect place for exceptional Cantonese dining.
The 3-year Michelin-starred Regal Palace is led by the award-winning chef, Sam Ip. Chef Sam has over 30 years of experience and won lots of award. He is also a member of “La Commanderie des Cordons Bleus de France”. Chef Sam is professional in selecting the finest and freshest ingredients to draw inspirations. The kitchen under Chef Sam shows versatility and creativity. His menu is a unique blend that promises to be a tasty experience with many surprises for guests.
To bring guests a new dining experience, Regal Palace specially added a series of new delicacies in the a la carte menu to fit every taste. New delicacies include “Double-boiled Whelk Soup with Bamboo Pith and Mushrooms”, “Stir-fried Crab with Preserved Sauce, Onion and Garlic”, “Stewed Chicken with Spring Onion”,” Steamed Fresh Milk and Grouper Fillets”, “Braised Beancurd and Pork Belly in Casserole” and many more. Apart from new dishes, Regal Palace keeps its awarded dishes and signature dishes in the menu such as “Deep-fried Prawns with Salty Egg Yolk and Sautéed Fresh Milk”, “Smoked Crispy Chicken with Chinese Tea Leaves”, “Fried Lobster Fillets Topped with Shanghai Crab Meat and Roe”, “Deep-fried Crispy Goose in Home-made Sauce”, “Shark’s Fin Soup with Wanton & Chicken in Casserole” and more to demonstrate chef’s master skills and to satisfy discerning diners.
In addition to a la carte menu, set menus for 2 to 12 persons are also available for guests to enjoy a feast with family and friends. Dim Sum is indispensable to Chinese cuisine, Regal Palace is reputable for its fine quality and delectable dim sum and snacks. The dim sum menu is a tasty mix of traditional and imagination. Highlights include “Steamed Shrimp Dumplings”, “Rice Flour Rolls with Pork Liver”, “Steamed Giant Bun with Chicken and Mushrooms”. ‘’Deep-fried Shrimp on Toast ‘’, “Fried Fen Guo Served with Supreme Soup”, “Marinated Pig Knuckles”, “Sweetened Flour Stick with Egg and Honey Syrup” and “Sweetened Coconut Pudding with Yellow Bean” etc.
Regal Palace has been rated as Michelin-star restaurant for three consecutive years since 2009, and voted the “Hong Kong’s Best Restaurant” for 8 consecutive years by Hong Kong Tatler since 2004. “Deep-fried Prawns with Salty Egg Yolk and Sautéed Fresh Milk” and “Smoked Crispy Chicken with Chinese Tea Leaves” have been awarded as Gold with Distinction Award and “Fried Lobster Fillets Topped with Shanghai Crab Meat and Roe” has been awarded Gold Awards in the Best of the Best Culinary Awards, all of them were held by The Hong Kong Tourism Board.
