| Huangguoshu Waterfall is located in the Zhenning Buyi and Miao Autonomous Region, Anshun of Guizhou Province in China. It is the largest waterfall amongst the Baishuihe waterfalls. It is named after a common local plant "Huangguoshu" with 77.8m high and 101m wide, the main waterfall is 67m high and 83.4m wide at the top. The formation of Huangguoshu Waterfall is a typical erosion of Karst split waterfall. It is not just one single waterfall, but there is a group of 18 waterfalls in different shapes surrounding it going from upstream to downstream in 20km long. In 1999, it was named the world's largest waterfall group and was listed in the Guinness World Records. |
