| Chishui |
| Chishui is located in the Northwest of Guizhou Province. The middle bank to downstream of Chishui River is connected to the Southern part of Sichuan province, which was historically the trade, economic and cultural center. It was also an important gateway from Guizhou to Sichuan. Chishui has beautiful scenery and 76.2% of the area is covered with forest, ranking the top in Guizhou Province. Chishui Scenic Area is the only national scenic area named after an administrative district by the State Council. It is known as "The City of Thousand Waterfalls", "Champion of Danxia", "Home of Bamboo", "Alsophila kingdom". Chishui is not only famous for its beauty and mysterious Chishui River running through the entire territory, but also its heritage of being the “Long March of the Red Army” and the world-famous natural beauty. |
