  Regal Riverside Hotel – New A La Carte Menu at Avanti Ristorante

Picking your favorite items for the appetizer, soup, main course, pasta and pizza, the new a la carte menu is surely fit for everyone’s taste.

Chef recommends fruity appetizers, Parma Ham and Melon ($98) to freshen up your appetite. Pan-fried Goose Liver on Apple Puree in Port Wine Gravy ($118) is another highlighted item where goose liver is very popular among Hong Kong people. The rich goose liver taste with apple puree forms refreshing match allows you to enjoy a few more slices. Pan-fried Portobello with Garlic Rosemary and Extra Virgin Olive Oil ($98) is one of the notable items too. Whole piece of Portobello is pan-fired and then baked into crispy surface. The taste is so natural and it is a healthy choice that you can savor. Other choices of appetizers such as Fresh Tomato and Basil Garlic Bread ($88), Garden Salad with Cucumber, Tomato, Bell Pepper and Mesclun Leaves ($78), etc can light up your palate.

For soup, Head Chef recommends luxurious Cream of Porcini Mushroom ($78). Porcini Mushroom is top fungi species and its amazing savory taste is named after black truffle. Other tasty choices include Garlic and Tomato Soup with Seafood ($78) and Italian Vegetable Soup with Pesto ($68).

Follow the flow to main-course, Chef selected quality pork and beef as the stars. The must-eat item includes Grilled Supreme Pork Rack in Marsala Sauce ($188) which enables you to taste the extraordinary semi-cooked pork. Another recommended item is Grilled Angus Beef in Thyme Gravy ($198). Angus Beef is in the top rank and the beef fat ratio is perfectly marble-like. That tastes rich and juicy even in a simple basil sauce. The Stuffed Chicken Breast in Goose Liver Gravy ($178) is a signature item also. The goose liver gravy is perfectly made in a right temperature that keeps it in sticky texture.
You can still find the tempting flavor of Italian traditional pasta and pizza in the new a la carte menu. More traditional ingredients and sauces are added to bring a fine Italian taste in every bite. Recommendations like Fuselli with Parma Ham, Chili and Extra Virgin Olive Oil ($118), Bucatini with Pancetta in Tomato Sauce ($118), Angel Hair with Lobster in Tomato and Garlic Sauce ($178), Home-made Cannelloni Filled with Fresh Spinach and Ricotta Cheese ($98), Rigatoni with Porcini Mushroom and Vegetable in Pesto Sauce ($108), etc.
