Giant grouper is often named as “King of Grouper” and lobster is commonly known as “King of Seafood”. Our Executive Chef Ray Lam specially selects a green alternative – Oasis Giant Grouper to prepare delicious giant grouper treats. Incorporating the two “Kings” into the buffet dishes, Café Allegro is presenting “Lobster and Giant Grouper” Seafood Dinner Buffet that showcases an array of themed-dishes and a wide range of sumptuous delicacies to whet your appetite!

Oasis Giant Grouper is fed by an indoor fish farm in Hong Kong using Recirculation Aquaculture System with quality assurance and the species is listed under “Green – Recommended” category in WWF Hong Kong Seafood Guide. Tasty recommendations include Steamed Giant Grouper Fillet with Glutinous Rice, the glutinous rice is irresistible as it absorbs the essence of the fatty pork, preserved sausage and fresh giant grouper. For Braised Giant Grouper Head with Ginger and Onion Casserole, ginger and onion have doubled up the fish flavor while the freshness of giant grouper is still retained.

Apart from unlimited serving of Chilled Maine Lobster, Champagne Lobster with Green Apple Puree is a tasty and healthy option as fresh diced green apples and lobster meat are perfectly matched to optimize the flavours of the dish.  Besides, Stir-fried Lobster Claw with Ginger and Spring Onion refreshes your tongue with its sophisticated sauce.

Other must-try dishes include a range of seafood like Bread Crab, Snow Crab Leg, Cold Shrimp, Jade Whelk and Mussel, Black Caviar with Cucumber and Greek Yoghurt, Pan-seared Foie Gras with Figs Jam, Steamed Egg Custard with Black Truffle and Foie Gras, Steamed Scallops with Glass Noodle and Gold Garlic, Sautéed Seasonal Vegetable with Sea Cucumber and 40” Seafood Paella. Besides, Organic and Hydroponic Vegetables in salad bar, Assorted Sushi and Sashimi and Indian Curry are also served along the buffet table.

Don’t forget to finish your meal on a sweet note with an array of extravagant desserts at dessert counter. Signatures include Green Tea Chestnut Sandwich, Mango Sticky Rice with Red Bean, White Peach and White Wine Cream Pithiviers and the long Classic Napoleon with Mix Fruits. The serving of Baked Jumbo Alaska will surely surprise every dining guest. Chef pours the liquor on the spongy cake topped with meringue and ignites with fire. This is a not-to-be-missed demonstration during the night. Moreover, a dessert with personal greetings can be tailor-made on-site for your beloved one while different flavors of Movenpick and Dreyer’s ice-cream are served to provide you a perfect finale.
