Mr. Balwin Yeung Pok-hung ( Chief Commercial Officer )

Mr. Balwin Yeung Pok-hung joined Regal Hotels International in 2024, current role as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing with him over three decades of leadership experience in the travel and hospitality sector.

Mr. Yeung graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management. He was the founding leader of Royal Caribbean Cruises in Hong Kong and has held senior roles with some of the most esteemed names in the industry, both locally and internationally, including Wharf Hotels, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, and Virgin Atlantic Airways. In 2007, he was honoured with the “Outstanding Young Marketing Professional” award by the Hong Kong Management Association. Most recently, he further enhanced his expertise by obtaining a Professional Certificate in Digital and Social Media Marketing from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

In his role, Mr. Yeung plays a crucial part in steering and managing all commercial aspects of the group, optimising the business performance of the entire portfolio by leveraging his diverse skills alongside the latest digital technologies and platforms. His vision and leadership are pivotal in ensuring the group’s sustained growth and success across various revenue streams.

 

 


 

Mr. Watson Lai Ching-kwok ( Vice President - Food & Beverage )
Mr. Watson Lai Ching-kwok brings over forty years of experience in the hospitality industry, having held senior positions at several esteemed hotel groups in mainland China and Hong Kong, including InterContinental Hotels Group, Great Eagle Group, and Langham Hospitality Group. He possesses extensive industry knowledge in food quality and operational management.

As the Vice President - Food & Beverage at Regal Hotels, Mr. Lai oversees the management for more than 40 restaurants across all Regal Hotels in Hong Kong, with a strong emphasis on banquet and event planning. Leveraging his robust professional expertise, he leads his team to provide exquisite cuisine and exceptional service, striving to create extraordinary dining and meeting experiences for every guest.

Mr. Lai is dedicated to enhancing food quality and optimizing service standards in alignment with Regal Hotels’ vision for sustainability development. He emphasizes the importance of local sourcing and ingredient quality to enhance and solidify the company’s reputation within the industry.

 
Mr. Eddie Lam Chi-yuen ( Vice President – Engineering )

Mr. Eddie Lam Chi-yuen joined Regal Hotels International in 2025 as Vice President – Engineering.

Mr. Lam is a veteran engineer with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has worked with prominent hotel chains such as Jumeirah, Rosewood, and Le Méridien. Prior to joining us, Mr. Lam gained extensive experience leading the engineering operations teams for a portfolio of hotels and managed numerous new build and renovation projects in China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

In his role as Vice President – Engineering, Mr. Lam will play a pivotal role in leading all aspects of the Engineering function to facilitate alignment with the organisation's broader goals and objectives.

 

Mr. Christopher Cheng Kan-lok ( Assistant Vice President - Finance ) 
Mr. Christopher Cheng Kan-lok joined Regal Hotels International in 2024 as Assistant Vice President – Finance.

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in accounting, including 14 years in hotel finance and operations, Mr. Cheng has established a robust foundation for his role as the Head of Finance for the Group.

Mr. Cheng earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His professional journey began with six years at prominent accounting firms, including Deloitte. He then transitioned to the hospitality sector, joining prestigious international hotel groups such as The Peninsula Hotels and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. Throughout his tenure in the hotel industry, Mr. Cheng has been instrumental in driving financial efficiency and operational effectiveness, earning widespread recognition.

In his current role, Mr. Cheng oversees the entire finance function of the Group. His responsibilities include financial planning and management, enhancing innovative and effective financial systems and controls, strengthening risk assessment and compliance processes, and developing Finance Executives across the hotel portfolio.
